When Frank needed a transplant, a group of friends formed Team Frank to raise money to help cover the expenses. One of the fundraisers was the Frankquet, a big party and basket raffle.

One of Frank's joys in life was food.

Frank received a double lung transplant at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in NYC.

Frank's post-transplant care required periodic clinic visits in NYC. We made over 30 trips back to Columbia-Presby.
